Cranberry – The Power Berry Packs a Punch –
PR for a unique product
Fresh berries, dried fruit or juice – cranberries are now available in Germany year round. The “Power Berry” comes from North America and, thanks to its intense flavor, is extremely versatile in any cuisine. Two brochures inform German consumers how easy it is to cook, bake or mix cocktails with the American cranberry. There is hardly any recipe which cannot be refined with cranberries. Its juice can be mixed into delicious cocktails – with or without alcohol.
The brochures are a part of an extensive PR campaign undertaken by mk2 to inform the German consumer about the tart berry from America. We regularly inform the consumer media with a press service about what’s new and introduce interesting recipes. A quarterly newsletter targets wholesalers and the retail trade. mk2 also represents the Cranberry Marketing Committee at the annual Fruit Logistica trade show in Berlin.
