Saskia joined mk² in December 2019 as Senior Account Director and brings a wealth of PR and media experience to the agency. Having earned her degree in Business Administration (Media & Communications Management) from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, Saskia spent several years in journalism, both freelance for local radio stations and newspapers in Germany, and full-time for Globe Media TV Productions in Costa Rica. Saskia worked as a trainee for FFP New Media TV & Film Production in Cologne before moving to PR with Jeschenko MedienAgentur, where she served as a Senior PR Consultant and Team Leader for more than a decade before joining mk².
Charged with account and project management as well as strategic conception and planning, Saskia leads California Walnuts, North Carolina Sweet Potatoes, and Champagne Louis Roederer accounts. Depending on the account scope, Saskia heads up trade and consumer marketing activities, PR and social media campaigns, and corporate/brand communication. Since joining mk², Saskia has led major retail campaigns with Edeka and Aldi for California Walnuts and North Carolina Sweet Potatoes.
Having spent time working and studying in Mexico and Costa Rica, Saskia has a passion for Latin American and Mexican culture, especially the food! When she’s not working hard for mk²’s clients, Saskia enjoys time with family, including her two daughters, singing, practicing Pilates, and reading.
