Long-time client Maison Champagne Louis Roederer is known across the world for producing prestigious champagnes. Cristal is the flagship cuvée of Champagne Louis Roederer, first created in 1876 for Alexander II, tsar of Russia. Cristal represents Louis Roederer’s master craftsmanship and holds its unique allure today.
To create the right setting for the tasting of such a fine vintage (even during times of Covid-19), mk² managed to arrange a virtual gathering with top German wine journalists and relevant wine influencers. The tasting was led by famous cellar master Jean-Baptiste Lécallion and featured the outstanding Cristal 2012. The participants were offered the exclusive experience of tasting vintage champagne under the personal guidance of its creator.
Despite its virtual nature, the tasting was an unequivocal success, highly praised by all the participating journalists and influencers. Most importantly, the client referred to it as “the best tasting ever.” Within just a few days, the event garnered over 30 pieces of coverage in high-end magazines and on social media, with a reach of more than 1.2 million contacts.
